COVID 19 has caused all of us to make many changes. The shared office space site where Apraxia Austin was providing therapy went bankrupt as a result on the closings and virus. Apraxia Austin is now providing therapy online and live at Kay’s ranch near Llano, TX.
Apraxia Austin still delivers top-quality speech-language therapy services. Owner Kay Giesecke has over 40 years of experience in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services and has specialized in childhood apraxia of speech since 1996. This new location will help to serve the Austin metropolitan area.
Kay will be presenting on November 3. 2020 6:00-8:00 pm – Kay will be speaking on Incorporating Co-Articulation in the Treatment of CAS for the Speech Pathologist’s Association Near Dallas.
Kay was to present 2 papers at the cancelled Apraxia Kids national conference in July 2020. Instead Apraxia Kids recorded one of the papers, CAS Goals for Older Students, and published it as a free webinar on their website. After watching it, SLPs can pass a brief quiz and earn 2 hours of CEUs.
